Shaw and Partners was pleased to host the Equity Market Outlook "Investing in a world with low interest rates" event at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne last night.

Over 170 attendees heard from Shaw and Partners Research Analysts Brett Le Mesurier, Peter O'Connor and Leanne Truong and Chief Investment Officer Martin Crabb, in a Q&A panel format.

Analysts spoke about topical themes across a range of industries including Metals, Mining, Banking, Diversified Financials and Insurance. Martin Crabb presented his considerations around official cash rate, currency and liquidity with the opportunity to invest in the Shaw Managed Accounts Income Goal portfolio.

The primary objective of the SMA Income Goal portfolio is to provide a regular and sustainable income stream over the medium term  whilst minimising risk to capital. It achieves this by investing in a diversified portfolio of asset classes and strategies. The strategy is designed to have a medium level of risk.
