Shaw and Partners appointed as Joint Lead Manager to the ANZ Capital Notes 6 offer News02 Jun 2021

On 1 June 2021, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) announced its intention to raise $1 billion through the offer of ANZ Capital Notes 6, with the ability to raise more or less.


ANZ Capital Notes 6 comprises a Reinvestment Offer for ANZ Capital Notes 1 (ANZPD); an ANZ security holder Offer; a Broker Firm Offer; and an Institutional Offer.  The Reinvestment Offer provides eligible CN1 holders with the opportunity to have some or all of their CN1 sold to the CN1 Nominated Purchaser and the sale proceeds reinvested in ANZ Capital Notes 6.


Shaw and Partners is pleased to be appointed as Joint Lead Manager to offer.


ANZ Capital Notes 6 has an Initial Face Value of A$100. Notes are expected to trade under ASX code ANZPI with quarterly distributions expected to be fully or substantially franked.


ANZ will use the proceeds of the Offer to refinance CN1 and for general corporate purposes.


The offer is open to Australian Resident clients only.
