Supporting Gold Dinner 2025: Shaw and Partners Marks Fourth Consecutive Year of Partnership Foundation03 Jun 2025

Shaw and Partners is proud to announce we will return as the Platinum Partner of the Gold Dinner 2025, marking our fourth consecutive year supporting the event.

Having been the first major sponsor in two of the previous three years, this year we are honoured to continue as the second major supporter, alongside Lendlease, the Presenting Partner for 2025. Together, we’re proud to support Australia’s most prestigious charity event and the incredible work of the Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation (SCHF).

Each year, the Gold Dinner brings together an extraordinary community of philanthropists and corporate leaders, united in their commitment to advancing paediatric healthcare across New South Wales and Australia. Funds raised directly support ground-breaking research, life-saving treatments, and expert care for some of the nation’s most vulnerable children.

Thanks to the generosity of our clients and the outstanding efforts of our Shaw and Partners Institutional team, 50% of the funds raised during the annual Shaw and Partners Institutional Foundation Day earlier this year have directly funded this year’s Platinum Partnership — ensuring we can continue backing this cause in a meaningful way.

Over the past four years, Gold Dinner has seen incredible growth in funds raised, reflecting the generosity, commitment, and drive of everyone involved. In 2022, the event raised $9 million, followed by $19.2 million in 2023, and an outstanding $33.4 million in 2024. The Gold Dinner Committee is once again aiming to break records at this year’s event, which will take place on Wednesday, 11 June 2025.

The incredible amounts raised have helped bring to life some truly groundbreaking developments in paediatric healthcare — and this year’s event promises to continue that legacy. The funds have supported the creation of the Kookaburra Centre, Australia’s first Complex Care Centre. They’ve helped establish Comprehensive Cancer Centres at both Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, enabling access to cutting-edge cancer treatment and research. Donations have also contributed to the construction of a brand-new Emergency Department at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, ensuring faster, more efficient care for children in urgent need. And most recently, they’ve funded the development of Australia’s first National Burns Unit at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead — what will be a landmark facility delivering specialist care and support for young burns patients across the country.

At Shaw and Partners Financial Services, we understand the importance of our social and moral responsibilities — not only to our staff, clients, and stakeholders, but also to our wider communities. Our commitment extends beyond financial goals; it’s about creating meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of others.
