Shaw and Partners unveils livery for Super2 Championship News14 Feb 2023

Jack Perkins has unveiled the colours he will carry in this year’s Super2 Championship with Erebus Motorsport.

The livery sees Shaw and Partners Financial Services take pride of place as the title sponsor on the #70 Commodore.

The Australian-themed design bears striking resemblance to the war paint Perkins and Will Brown carried in the 2021 edition of the Bathurst 1000.

Brown also secured three podiums, including his first race win, and one pole position under the same  guise.

“We all really loved how the 2021 Shaw and Partners livery looked so we started with that as a template but have made it even bolder and brighter and it looks fantastic,” Perkins said.

“[Co-CEO] Earl Evans and his team at Shaw and Partners really wanted to help prepare me for the endurance races with Will and after our Super2 entry at Sandown last year, he was really keen to put together a full championship.

“I’m so grateful for the support of Shaw and Partners, and indeed Southern Cross Truck Rentals and the support of my loyal partners Noble Logistics, ARB Penrith and Muscle Car Warehouse. I’m really looking forward to racing the car and representing them throughout the year.”

Shaw and Partners Financial Services specialises in financial planning, investment solutions and corporate advisory services acting on behalf of individuals, institutions, corporates, and charities.

Co-CEO Earl Evans is excited to see his vision come to life and looks forward to following Perkins’ progression throughout the year.

“We’re thrilled to be involved with Jack for a second year and we are super excited about the livery we’ve built with him,” Evans said.

“Shaw and Partners working with Barry Ryan, Erebus and Jack to bring a full season of racing is unreal. The partnership has been fantastic and we’re absolutely loving it.”

The Shaw and Partners Racing Commodore will hit the track at Winton for testing today before the Super2 season commences in Newcastle, 10 – 12 March.
