Shaw and Partners is pleased to be appointed as Joint Lead Manager to the proposed capital raising by WAM Leaders Limited (ASX: WLE).

WAM Leader’s is Wilson Asset Management’s large cap LIC which provides investors with exposure to an active investment process focused on identifying undervalued large-cap companies with compelling fundamentals, a robust macroeconomic thematic and a catalyst.

WLE is seeking to raise up to approximately A$100 million by way of a single tranche placement of up to 67.6 million new shares with the ability to take oversubscriptions pursuant to its placement capacity under ASX Listing Rule 7.1.

The Placement proceeds will be used to efficiently grow the Company’s assets, increase its relevance in the market, improve the prospect of broker and research coverage, garner additional interest from financial planners and provide access to market opportunities.

The Offer Price for the Placement is A$1.48 per share which represents a 6.9% discount to the last traded price on Tuesday 11 April 2023 of A$1.59 and broadly in line with the estimated Pre-Tax NTA at 31 March 2023 of $1.4749.
