It was a truly remarkable night of celebration at the Melbourne Rebels Headquarters last Monday for the official launch of the Rebels Under 18 Academy Squad.

As the Principal Partner of the Melbourne Rebels Academy Program in 2022, Shaw and Partners logo features on the front and back of the playing jerseys for all three Rugby Union Melbourne Rebels academy squads.

“Shaw and Partners chose to specifically support the Rebels Academy program to strengthen the link between community rugby and the elite level, with a goal of keeping the best talent here in #Victoria. The program offers a unique opportunity to support the future of Victorian Rugby by building a clear pathway for young athletes to grow from community and school rugby, all the way through to international competition” Shaw and Partners Senior Wealth Manager Ben Morrissey said. 

“Our hope for the current players in the Academy program is to take advantage of the opportunity provided by the Rebels Academy and elevate their game sufficiently to be considered for the Elite Pathways squad, then the senior Rebels team and then to the Wallabies.”

The new Academy playing jerseys will also be unveiled at AAMI Park this Sunday during the home game against the Chiefs.
