For the third year running, Shaw and Partners is delighted to partner with Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) team Adelaide Lightning as a major sponsor.
Shaw and Partners branding will again feature on the front of jerseys and on-court digital advertising throughout the season.
The Adelaide Lightning players just recently unveiled the new jerseys for the 2021-22 WNBL season: a blue home kit, red away kit, blue Indigenous jersey, a black Pride Round kit and bright yellow top that will be worn to support road safety awareness.
The Shaw and Partners branded jerseys will also include a “V” shaped stripes representing the five championships won by the Lightning in 1994, 1995, 1996 1998 and 2008.
The sponsorship of the Adelaide team offers Shaw and Partners with valuable brand exposure across Australia, where basketball has a very strong following. The WNBL is one of the world’s best elite basketball leagues and, with Australia hosting the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in 2022, it is now a perfect time to be supporting basketball. The popularity of women’s basketball has never been higher in Australia.

The Adelaide Lightning’s season kicks off this Saturday with a home game against the Townsville Fire at the Lights Community & Sport Centre in Adelaide.
All 84 WNBL games will air live across Australia – four per week on Kayo and weekend games simulcast on ABC and iView providing more exposure than ever before.
