Shaw and Partners was pleased to be appointed as Lead Manager to an equity capital raising by Capitol Health (ASX: CAJ).

Capitol Health successfully raised up to $29.8 million by issuing approximately 186,498,879 new ordinary fully paid shares at $0.160 per security. New shares issued under the Placement will rank pari passu with existing securities.

In addition, Capitol Health offered all existing eligible investors the opportunity to subscribe for new shares up to a maximum of $30,000 per investor under a Security Purchase Plan (SPP). The SPP was capped at $10.0 million.

The offer price of $0.160 per security represented a 17.9% discount to last close of A$0.195, a 9.1% discount to 5-day VWAP of A$0.176 and a 35.6% discount to 30-day VWAP of A$0.248.

Capitol Health Limited is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services to the Australian healthcare market, including MRI, Ultrasound, CT, Echocardiography, X-Ray and other related treatments. The Melbourne-based company owns and operates diagnostic imaging clinics in Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia. Capitol Health has a highly scalable and flexible business model and has demonstrated its ability to scale organically and through acquisition.
