After taking the win in the ICF SUP World Cup race in Scharbeautz, Germany, Shaw and Partners Race Team member Michael Booth went on to claim the 2019 Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Euro Tour; his third championship in a row.

Michael enjoyed a dominant summer in Europe this year after winning four competitions in VilleFranche, Corfu, Crete and Scarbeautz and coming 2nd in Bilbao and 3rd in Vendee. 

Michael, a member of the Shaw and Partners Race Team, is a three-time Australian Champion, a two-time ISA World SUP Champion and is currently in second place in the APP World Tour which concludes in Las Palmas De Gran Canaria in December. 

Michael transitioned to SUP from Surf Ski paddling in 2015 and in that short time, has dominated the international SUP competition circuit.  Michael has gone from World Number 2 Ocean Ski paddler and Olympic-hopeful kayaker to World Champion SUP racer in less than two years.

Michael now joins the Shaw and Partners Race Team in Saint-Pierre Quiberon, France for the ICF Ocean Ski World Championships where he will compete under the Australian flag in the Surfski Solo category.

Shaw and Partners Race Team Member Cory Hill and Brand Ambassador Hayley Nixon are the current ICF Ocean Racing World champions and hoping to defend their crowns when the competition begins in France today.
