The 2018 Maui Jim Molokai Challenge attracted over 170 paddlers from around the world, competing on solo, double surfskis and one-man outrigger.   The Molokai Challenge began in 1977 and is the longest running channel race in Hawaii, with a course spanning 53km across the Kaiwi Channel. The MJMC is the Superbowl of competitive surfski paddling and is a true test of endurance and perseverance, as participants must navigate the often-unpredictable channel weather conditions and currents.
