Shaw and Partners has cemented its next step towards significant growth in Adelaide by signing a five-year lease for space in one of Adelaide’s premier commercial office spaces, Westpac House.
Shaw and Partners opened its first Adelaide office, in July 2015, as a boutique financial services operation and is currently under the management former Morgan Stanley Executive, Stuart Cross.
Since then, Shaw and Partners’ Adelaide office has grown to 17 staff. This growth is expected to continue during the next five years, seeing it become one of Adelaide’s premier financial advisory firms.
Shaw and Partners Co-CEO, Earl Evans, said that the move from serviced offices in Grenfell St to one of the most prestigious commercial properties near the corner of Currie and King William Streets, is the strongest indication that South Australian clients have recognised Shaw and Partners’ commitment to both client service and excellence in advice.
“Our commitment to the South Australian market has been evident since we first launched our operations there. Our focus on service and outstanding advice has been complimented by our staff involvement in major fundraising activities for community causes,” Mr Evans said.
Mr Evans said one of the reasons for its success was that Shaw and Partners had been sure to appoint advisers who had decades of experience in the South Australian market.
“We have put together an outstanding team who understand the market, who are highly regarded and who get results for their clients. The growth in our business shows that this is a successful strategy.
Mr Evans said that Shaw and Partners has always said it did not want to be the biggest provider of financial services in South Australia, but it has a desire to be the best and a company that is most trusted by its clients.
“We are here for our South Australian clients, because when all is said and done, that is who our business exists for,” Mr Evans said.
