Shaw and Partners hosted 5 time Olympian Clint Robinson OAM at our Sydney office.
Clint Robinson OAM is an Australian sprint kayaker and surf lifesaver who has won a complete set of medals at the Olympics (gold: 1992 K-1 1000 m, silver: 2004: K-2 500 m, bronze: 1996 K-1 1000 m). Clint is regarded as the greatest surfcraft competitor in the history of Surf Lifesaving. Among his copious victories, he has won 38 Australian titles in the ski and board races and also won the board rescue, board relay, double ski, ski relay and taplin relay. He has also won the Molokai 52km ocean paddle race 4 times.
On Tuesday morning, a small group of Shaw and Partners clients had the opportunity to have a private paddling session with Clint in Sydney’s Rose Bay. Clint spent an hour and a half in the water with the clients, imparting his pearls of wisdom from some 25 years of success in the sport.
That same day Clint hosted a lunchtime session around planning for success and the parallels between a successful sporting career and a successful business. He honed in the importance of a positive attitude, preparation and focus. The presentation was offered to all Sydney based Shaw and Partners staff and Advisers and was very much enjoyed by all who attended.
