Over 850 Shaw and Partners clients gathered at the Art Gallery of NSW yesterday evening for the annual Sydney Client Appreciation Event, which was held in conjunction with the Archibald Prize.
Guests listened to speakers David Gonski AC, Chairman of ANZ and Coca-Cola Amatil and President of the Art Gallery of NSW Trust and celebrity Chef Matt Moran, who also catered for the function, keeping true to his notorious ‘paddock to plate’ concept.
Guests were treated to a myriad of mouth-watering culinary delights including Moran Family lamb cutlets, snow crab sliders, mushroom and truffle risotto balls and a freshly shucked oyster bar.
All clients were given the opportunity to have a private viewing of the Archibald, to see 2016 Archibald Prize winner Louise Hearman’s portrait “Barry” in the flesh.
The event comes off the back of the Shaw and Partners Melbourne Client Appreciation Event, held in June this year, with guest speakers Jeff Kennett AC and David Smorgon.
Over $25,000 was raised for Charity across the two events with the recipient charities being Beyond Blue, Schools Plus and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
