Shaw and Partners appointed Lead Manager of the $14.6m National Veterinary Care capital raising News19 Jun 2017

National Veterinary Care has this morning, confirmed a $14.6 million placement via broker Shaw and Partners, Lead Manager to the issue.

Shaw and Partners are conducting the book build and anticipate strong institutional demand given the success of the IPO.  Shaw and Partners floated National Veterinary Care in 2015 at an issue price of $1.00. The float, which raised close to $30 million, was well oversubscribed as investors backed the company to match the success of larger rival, Greencross.

Funds from the placement are intended to be used for the acquisitions of additional clinics, to add to its existing operation of 55 clinics.

National Veterinary Care is a leading provider of quality veterinary care in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to the offer, National Veterinary Care had a market capitalisation of $127m.
